Break the chain of infection with a system designed specifically for use in Fire and EMS. For over 10 years, the AeroClave RDS 3110 and RDS 6110 systems have been in service with the largest Fire/EMS organizations in North America, and with many of the smallest. Additionally, AeroClave efficacy is incorporated into the facility and vehicle cleaning SOPs of a customer base that includes highly visible clients including US Military branches, the National Institute of Health, and many national hospital groups. The credibility of the AeroClave customer base is unparalleled across the industry.
Fentanyl contamination can present an additional challenge for fire and EMS personnel responding to overdoses, drug-related incidents, and other emergencies. Ambulances, fire apparatus, equipment, and facilities may require decontamination following an incident involving fentanyl or other synthetic opioids.
AeroClave’s Room Decontamination Systems (RDS), when paired with Dahlgren Decon® / PeroxySolid™, provides an automated approach to treating fentanyl-contaminated environments. The aerosolized application helps distribute treatment throughout an enclosed space, including hard-to-reach areas that can be difficult to address through manual cleaning alone.
For EMS and fire departments, this can provide another option for addressing contamination in ambulances, emergency response vehicles, equipment areas, and other enclosed spaces while supporting the return of critical assets to service.
Initial screening-level testing demonstrated promising results for the combination of Dahlgren Decon® / PeroxySolid™ and the AeroClave RDS 3110 in reducing fentanyl contamination on hard, non-porous surfaces. [View Testing Results]
